METAL SURFACES

If youšre looking at a product made of METAL, the key term is:
POWDER-COATED.

This refers to a process that uses electro-magnetic fields and very high temperatures to bond particles of epoxy-based resin directly to the metal.

The advantages of this process over paint are (1) a more even coating-- no thin spots and no drips-- and (2) a bond that is many times more resistant to scratches, chips, and peeling. There is no good reason to buy a metal product these days that isnšt powder-coated.
